“Seiva”  (a Portuguese word that means “sap”) was conceived during a turbulent time of reflections about how humankind often needs challenging times to awaken to certain truths. Here, a flowering branch blooms not from a tree, but from the blood in a sickle. It symbolizes the regeneration that often comes from the struggle through pain and sacrifice.
